FROST SCHOOL OF MUSIC STUDENTS AND FACULTY TO PERFORM WITH
STAR SONGWRITER, DESMOND CHILD
Coral Gables, FL – Songs from JazzAge, a new musical by renowned songwriter and producer Desmond Child, will headline a champagne reception and silent auction on Wednesday, January 19, from 8 to 10:30 p.m., to benefit the Bass Museum of Art and celebrate the final days of Paris Moderne: Art Deco Works from the Musée d’Art Moderne de la Ville de Paris. The exhibition, which closes on January 23, evokes the rich style of Parisian interiors of the 20s and 30s through sumptuous groupings of paintings, furniture and decorative art of the period. Child will perform with students and faculty from the University of Miami Frost School of Music. Prizes will be awarded for best Art Deco period costumes.
