A visit to campus, if possible, is highly encouraged to give the prospective student the best idea of what the Drumset Program has to offer.  This also allows you to get to know the faculty and students personally.  These visits do not have to occur on scheduled audition days, the best days to come are Thursday and Friday.  If you wish, your audition can occur during your visit if you have passed the prescreening requirement and been approved to audition, but you must have submitted both the university application and the Frost School of Music application.

Please contact Professor Steve Rucker, srucker@umiami.edu, if you want to schedule a visit/audition or if you have any questions.

Regional Auditions: Jazz drumset auditions are not possible at regional sites.  Please contact Professor Steve Rucker for
further information.
