The "Band of the Hour" is the University of Miami Marching Band. Steeped in tradition, the "Band of the Hour" has entertained audiences across the globe. The "Band of the Hour is the largest and most spirited student organization on the UM campus.

| University Pep/Athletic Bands |
Pep Bands include Gale Force Winds and Hurricane Basketball Bands. Gale Force Winds make special appearances at various spirit events. The Hurricane Basketball Bands promote spirit at Hurricane basketball games and other sporting events.
