The "Band of the Hour" is proud to have one of the best staffs in the country, from top to bottom. The "Band of the Hour" staff is comprised of the student leaders, the instructional staff, the senior staff assistant, and the director.

Director-Band of the Hour - Tom Keck
Thomas Keck served as Assistant Director of Bands and Interim Director of the Redcoat Band at the University of Georgia. In this capacity, he assisted with all aspects of the program, including conducting responsibilities with all UGA Bands, administration, design, and instruction for the Redcoat Marching Band, and primary direction of all other athletic bands. Additionally, Keck taught courses in conducting and music education. He is a candidate for the Doctor of Musical Arts in Conducting from Arizona State University and has earned music education degrees from the University of Illinois and the University of Iowa. |

| Charles Damon is the Senior Staff Assistant for the Band Department. Mr. Damon has been with the University of Miami since 1998. Mr. Damon is the liaison between the band department and the University of Miami, including the athletic department. He has coordinated many past band events including homecoming and trips to Florida State University, University of Florida, and The Rose Bowl National Championship.
