The University of Miami School of Music is pleased to again present the wonderful sounds of the holiday season through the annual Holiday Dinner. Probably at no other time of the year is music such an important ingredient in our celebrations and the memories of these celebrations over the years.
This is our personal invitation for you, your family, and friends to join us on Sunday, December 7 2008, for a reception at 6:30 p.m. with wine and hors d’oeuvres, followed by dinner at 7:30 p.m. The gala evening filled with music will celebrate our holiday season at the elegant, new Treetop Ballroom at Jungle Island on Watson Island, overlooking Miami’s beautiful skyline and the azure waters of Biscayne Bay.
More than 200 talented student singers from the University of Miami Choral Ensembles, accompanied by harp, brass, and percussion, will make this a musical night to remember. The University of Miami Frost School of Music Choral Ensembles continue to be recognized as some of the finest in the nation. They are eager to share their vocal talent as we begin another memorable and meaningful holiday season with you as our guests.
