Gusman Studio
has been in use for over two decades, and has a long history of producing
top-rate recording engineers and producers. The original studio housed an
MCI 428 console and MCI 16-track recorder; in its second incarnation,
the studio housed a MCI 532 console and a MCI 24-track recorder;
this studio was featured on the cover of Mix Magazine in March, 1985.
The dedication of quality students and quality
music engineering faculty
make such a studio possible. Most importantly, the studio serves
as a hands-on laboratory for students wishing to master the art of
recording and mixing, and serves as a training ground for students
wishing to learn how to design, repair, modify, and install
audio equipment.
