Rey Sanchez, Associate Professor (Music Business and Entertainment Industries), received a B.M. degree in Theory Composition and a M.M. degree in Studio Writing Production for the University of Miami. Sanchez is involved in many facets of the music industry, including music publishing(EMI Music Publishing, FJH Music, Warner Brothers Music), record production ( Sony, BGM, Fonovisa, Benson) and is the musical director for latin pop star, Chayanne. Prior to coming to the University of Miami, Sanchez was the Music Business program director at Miami-Dade Community College. He is a voting member of the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences.
