NEY ROSAURO

Ney Rosauro, Associate Professor and Program Director, Percussion, received a B.A. degree from the Universidade de Brasilia, Brasilia, Brazil, B.A. and M.A. degrees from the Hochschule für Musik, Wurzburg, Germany, and a D.M.A. from the University of Miami. As soloist and pedagogue, Rosauro has taught several courses and performed solo concerts and with orchestras in more than 25 different countries. He also has performed in many of the world's more important percussion festivals. Rosauro's CDs have received acclaim from international critics and his compositions have been recorded by about 30 international artists and orchestras. Rosauro is a Yamaha, Sabian, and Innovative Percussion artist.
