ROBERT REMEK, Lecturer (Organ), has been active as a church musician in South Florida for over 20 years. He earned B.M. and M.M. degrees in piano performance and in choral conducting, respectively, and a D.M.A. degree in organ performance from the University of Miami. Remek performed for the visit of Pope John Paul II to Miami in 1987. He has studied organ with Arden Whitacre, Warren Canfield, and Kenon Renfrow. An active member of the American Guild of Organists, Remek has served as dean of the Fort Lauderdale chapter. He has also passed the Colleague (CAGO), Associateship (AAGO), and ChoirMaster (ChM) professional certification examinations of the AGO.
