Harry Hawthorne, Lecturer (Percussion), and Ensemble Librarian, attended the University of Utah and the Roy C. Knapp School of Percussion in Chicago. He studied under Edward Metzenger in the Chicago Civic Symphony, and has extensive experience in symphony, opera, theater, big band, and small group performance. A former staff member at NBC and ABC, and a studio musician, Hawthorne teaches percussion, supervises the ensemble libraries, and performs on a freelance basis in the Greater Miami area
