Ivan Davis  
  Ivan DavisIvan Davis, Professor (Piano), Artist in Residence, received a B.M. degree from North Texas State University, an Artist's Diploma from the Santa Cecilia Academy in Rome, and a Fulbright Scholarship. Davis Keyboard Performancewas a student of Silvio Scionti, Carlo Zecchi, and Vladimir Horowitz. He has appeared as soloist with major orchestras in North America, Europe, Asia, and Australia under such conductors as Bernstein, Ormandy, and Maazel. Listed in The New Grove Dictionary of Music and Musicians, Davis also is a recipient of New York City's highest music award the Handel Medallion as well as top prizes in Liszt, Busoni, and Casella international competitions. He records for the London Decca, Sony, Music Masters, New World, and Audiofon labels.
