COMMERCIAL FLYERS: All band and spirit group members on commercial flights please remember to plan an early arrival because all flights are over-booked. 

Upon arrival in Phoenix take the Super Shuttle to the hotel and back to the airport. You will be on a list and you WILL NOT have to pay or have a voucher.  Just go to the Super Shuttle and tell them you are with the University of Miami Band and they will find your name on a list.

8:00p.m.                      Block Party Performance Ends 

(Change Cloths and stay for New Years Eve or return to the Hotel)

1:00a.m.                      Last bus returns to hotel from Block Party

9:00a.m.                      Depart for rehearsal

1:15pm.                       Depart hotel for pep rally in Tempe Beach Park

 

Friday, January 3, 2003

 

8:30a.m.                      Presidents Breakfast Millennium Hotel (Performance & Continental Breakfast Provided Ð we will return to the hotel approx. 11:00a.m.)   

 

1:30p.m.                      Charter people check out and load Luggage

 

2:00p.m.                      Depart hotel for UM Alumni/Fiesta Bowl Pre-Game Parties (3) at ASU Festival Fairgrounds and then Stadium North parking lot.

 

4:30p.m.                      Leave Tail Gate lots for game (band seated in SECTION 25)

 

After game return to Hyatt Ballroom A&B to change out of uniform.  Remember to leave room in your carry-on for your uniform.  Pizza will provided from SardelloÕs (602-485-1919)

 

11:45p.m.                    Depart Hotel for Airport

Miami Air GL640 departs Phoenix 1:00a.m. and returns to MIA 7:00a.m.

Commercial flyers Ð band and spirit group members Ð catch shuttle outside hotel to airport according to schedule tp be available at the Front Desk of the Hotel.

Make sure to checkout with the front desk and clear all charges to your room.
