No matter what major you are pursuing, you may wish to consider a minor in dance or fulfill undergraduate fine arts requirements through participation in the University of Miami’s Dance Program.

This wide-ranging curriculum, available to all undergraduate students, offers all levels of dance studio technique, as well as dance history, theory, and pedagogy. Dance classes and workshops offered during Spring Break and Summer Minimesters are also open to all students with permission from their advisers.

Dance Minor
A minor in dance is intended for students interested in developing basic movement and teaching skills for grades K-12. Prospective minors are required to audition and interview as well as maintain a grade point of 3.0 in all dance courses.
