| There has been
a lot of talk about surround sound and its impact on the future of music production.
You've read about dvd-a and sacd, but have you had a chance to actually hear very much
music mixed in surround? We will set up a 5.1 system in the studio and give you a
chance to hear a variety of music mixed in surround. Come enjoy a relaxed evening of
music and experience it for yourself!

| The mandate of Lucasfilm THX is to assure the highest
quality of picture and sound wherever movies are presented. For the past 15 years,
the world renowned THX Theatre Program has been responsible for providing theatre design,
specifications, and certification for optimal film presentation. There are currently more
than 2000 THX certified theatres worldwide; each comprised of a unique combination of
loudspeakers integrated with specific room acoustics that provide moviegoers with the best
picture and sound experience available today. Presenters will present a lecture about THX technology and their services and hopefully offer some stimulating demonstrations! |
