Research of the Music Engineering Program

All Music Engineering graduate students must complete a research project (thesis). This entails a written paper and an oral defense of the paper before a faculty committee. Very generally, this research deals with digital signal processing and synthesis, and usually entails software creation.

The Music Engineering program publishes masters thesis projects regularly. In several cases, graduate students have presented the results of their work to international conventions of the Audio Engineering Society.
