Clarke Recital Hall is capable of recording 16 channels, mixed live to stereo. Should more inputs be required, please consider using Gusman Concert Hall.
Gusman Recital Hall is capable of recording 36 channels, mixed live to stereo.
The “small” sound system in Clarke Recital Hall consists of a mixer with 16 inputs (located back-stage), an overhead speaker array, and the possibility of a single monitor mix (2 monitor speakers). This system was conceived for those performances which are essentially acoustic but which require some amplification for balance purposes.
The “large” sound system in Clarke Recital Hall consists of a mixer with 16 inputs which is setup in the audience, 2 main speakers, and the possibility of 2 separate monitor mixes (total of 3 monitor speakers). This system is capable of producing far too much sound for a hall this size, but is available for those occasions when many performers on stage require mixing from a position which is located “Front-of-House”.
No wireless microphone systems are available in Clarke Recital Hall, but CD and/or cassette playback are available with either the “small” or “large” system. Please notify us in advance if using playback.
The “small” sound system in Gusman Concert Hall consists of a mixer with 4 inputs (located back-stage), two overhead speaker arrays, and the possibility of a single monitor mix (2 monitor speakers). This system was conceived for those performances which utilize a narrator or announcer, where some amplification is needed for an otherwise acoustic event, or in cases where there is a need for some assistance with balance (e.g. synthesizer organ, soloist, etc.).
The “large” sound system in Gusman Concert Hall consists of a mixer with 32 inputs which is setup in the audience, 2 main speaker clusters, and the possibility of 4 separate monitor mixes (total of 6 monitor speakers). This system is available for those occasions when many performers on stage require mixing from a position which is located “Front-of-House”.
Two wireless microphone systems are available with either sound system in Gusman Concert Hall: 1 handheld mic and 1 lavalier (clip-on) mic. CD and/or cassette playback are available with either the “small” or “large” system.
