A major educational and cultural resource for South Florida since its inception in 1926, the University of Miami Phillip and Patricia Frost School of Music maintains a substantive philosophical and proactive commitment to serving a variety of constituencies by way of its numerous out-reach programs. In addition to their importance as community service efforts, these programs provide opportunities for local, national, and international visibility; audience development; the formation and extension of support groups; venues for student recruitment; and fund raising.
