Edith Cowan University The program at Edith
Cowan University is for junior-level students in many of the programs
in the FrostSchool of Music. Students work with the assistant dean
and their advisor at the beginning of the sophomore year to determine
if their major requirements can be fulfilled at Edith Cowan. Edith
Cowan is located in Perth, Australia, which is on the west coast of
Australia. The music program is extremely diversified and lends itself
well to exchange with the University of Miami. All instruction is

Academy The Sibelius Academy is the only music academy in Finland and one of the biggest in Europe. In addition to providing the highest education in the field of music, it engages in performance and creative art and research and is committed to the fostering of Finland's musical culture and cultural heritage. It also seeks active collaboration with Finnish society and participates in the development of culture. Today, Sibelius Academy is a university
level academy with about 1,700 students. The number of full time
teachers is 183 and the number of part-time teachers is about 300. The
degrees offered are Bachelor of Music, Master of Music and Doctor of
Music as well as the Finnish degree, Licentiate of Music. The degree
programs offered are: Arts Management, Church Music, Composition and
Music Theory, Folk Music, Jazz, Music Education, Music Technology,
Orchestral and Choral Conducting, and Performance and Vocal Music.

Music Business
Program Music Business and Entertainment Industries students have the opportunity to study at Buckinghamshire Chilterns University College on the High Wycombe Campus which is 40 miles out of London. This is one of the few music business programs available outside the United States. Salzburg Summer Program Since 1987 this popular program has attracted vocalists and pianists from throughout the world as participants. Those chosen for the program, both undergraduate and graduates, have the opportunity to attend concerts at the famed Salzburg Festival and benefit from masterclasses given by world-famous vocalists and pianists who are in Salzburg in connection with the Festival each summer. Extensive information is available on-line regarding requirements for being accepted for the program.
