Frost School of Music - University of Miami


	The Frost School of Music and the University of Miami are proud to offer a full range of financial assistance packages rewarding both musically and academically talented students. In addition, based on demonstrated need, students may be considered for state and federal grant, federal loan programs, and college work-study. For priority consideration, freshman and transfer applicants must complete the University of Miami Application for Undergraduate Admission, Parts 1 and 2, and the Frost School of Music application by January 15 and successfully complete the audition before March 1. There is no separate scholarship application. Musical ability and academic performance are considered in determining scholarship eligibility and awards. In some cases, financial need may also be considered in making such determinations. All music scholarships are applied only to tuition. To be considered for scholarships and/or financial aid, you must:
	File a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) with the College Scholarship Service. The priority deadline to file the FAFSA is February 1st. The FAFSA is available on line at www.fafsa.ed.gov. You may also obtain one from the University's Office of Financial Assistance Services, phone (305) 284-5212.
	NOTE: The Free Application for Federal Student Aid is required for all students seeking music scholarships and financial aid. International students who do not have green card status are exempt from filing the FAFSA.
	Complete your music audition. Music scholarships, available only to full-time music majors, are talent-based and are given for performance ability as demonstrated through the audition.

	University of Miami Academic Music Scholarships
	Scholarship Amount Singer Scholarship Full Tuition University Music Scholarship $24,000 Annually Dean's Music Scholarship $16,000 Annually Trustee Music Scholarship $11,000 Annually Collegiate Music Scholarship $8,000 Annually
